I would like to say Merry Christmas to everyone in our Armed Forces, Your services is not forgotten this Christmas season, I hope you will all discover the true meaning of Christmas, its not about gifts like we know it, but its about the greatest gift of all, God  gave us the Greatest and most important gift we could ever recieve a Savior, His one and only son Jesus who was born to die, he came to give us hope of eternal life and to be the one who can take away all of our sins, Only Jesus can give a sinner a full pardon, no one else can do that, for that is the way God wanted it, God did all the work to bring us back into a relationship with himself by sending His son to die for our sins, but Jesus did not stay in the grave He  rose from the gave as the scriptures said he would and is alive forever, He is the only way of salvation. Jesus is the Greatest gift, hope you recieve this gift, its priceless.

God's love for the Military

 God loves the military.

In His Word, the Bible, we see how true this is. There are stories in both the Old Testament and the New Testament, showing His love for military personnel.

I would like to share with you one story. Read Matthew 8: 5-13.

We see here that Jesus was talking to a Roman Centurion who had a servant who was paralyzed.

Some points about this event that shows Gods love for the military.

1) Jesus is talking to a Roman Centurion,an enemy of Israel and a gentile.

2) Jesus did not walk away from him, nor did He tell him he would not help him.

3) Jesus listen to his request, and was willing to go with the centurion to heal his servant.

4) When the Centurion told Jesus he didn't want Him to come to his house, Jesus listened to his reason.

5) Look at verse 10, Jesus' reply. Was Jesus upset for being told "do not come to my house"?  NO, Jesus said, "I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith".

6) Jesus commended him for his Faith, and his servant was healed as the Centurion believed.

This is only one event in the scriptures showing Gods love for military personnel. Next month, I will show you another.

If anyone says God hates the military, they do not know the bible.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

You can change the world for military personnel.

Jesus did not die just for civilians. He gave His life for ALL people. As it is written in Romans 3:23,  "ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

Have a Blessed Day !
